Both active participants and passive participants can take part in the entire programme of AMSC, except that passive participants don't present any research at the congress themselves. On this page you can read about our different types of activities.

Workshops

Every year, various workshops in many different fields are given by trained professionals at AMSC. Some are very hands-on, others are interactive in other ways, but all are made to give you as much relevant expertise and experience per session as possible.

Presentations

Each AMSC edition, active participants come over from all over the world to present their research at the congress. Passive participants don't present anything themselves, but they can attend these presentations and maybe get inspired to work on their own research.

Lectures

We invite academics that have proven their expertise over and over again in innovative research to share their experience and findings at AMSC. Both undergraduate and graduate students will be able to expand their knowledge and build upon it in their future careers.

Social activities

No student congress is complete without a social programme where participants can get to know each other better and learn more about the local culture. AMSC is no exception, as we offer various activities where you can relax with others and enjoy everything Antwerp has to offer.
