Braincoms

São Paulo, Brazil
BRAINCOMS (Brazilian International Congress of Medical Students) is a congress founded in 2012 entirely organized by students of Escola Paulista de Medicina for medical students from all over the world. Every year, dozens of professors, NGO representatives and guest keynote speakers from around the world gather at UNIFESP (Federal University of São Paulo) to take part in the event.
During the pandemic, BRAINCOMS had to switch to online mode, but that didn’t stop us from achieving our goals: being an accessible platform for sharing cultural and professional experiences and scientific knowledge for the medical student community. In 2020 alone, on the first remote BRAINCOMS edition, the congress reached thousands of students from 78 countries.
After two years holding the online event and connecting people through the screen, BRAINCOMS returned to the face-to-face format. With the idea of creating new bonds and bringing back people together, XI BRAINCOMS followed the theme “Strengthening connections”.
CROSS

Zagreb, Croatia
Croatian Student Summit or CROSS is an international scientific congress for students and young scientists in the biomedical field. In recent years CROSS has found its place as one of the leading student congresses not only in Croatia but also in this part of Europe.
The project was initiated by the Student Council of the University of Zagreb School of Medicine in the academic year 2004/2005. The School of Dentistry, the School of Veterinary Medicine, and the School of Pharmacy and Biochemistry of the University of Zagreb were involved in the project as collaborators.
The eighteenth edition of the congress will be held from April 25th to 28th, 2023 at the School of Medicine in Zagreb, Šalata. The congress is organized by the Student Council of the University of Zagreb School of Medicine. The theme of this year's congress is: "Body & Mind". (This topic applies to lectures only. Poster presentation topics may vary.

The International conference for Healthcare and Medical Students is Ireland’s first student led conference, founded at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) in 2010. Our annual international conference is organized by a group of full-time students studying in the healthcare field at RCSI in Dublin, Ireland. This year, our organizing committee consists of 33 members ranging from first year to final year students.
ICHAMS inspires students to pursue and publish their research, all while partaking in our engaging social program and learning through our hands on workshops.

The International Congress of Medical Sciences is an event that welcomes more than 500 participants every year. The organizer of the forum is Association of Medical Students in Bulgaria – Sofia (AMSB-Sofia). This year the congress will take place at the Medical University of Sofia, Bulgaria from 11th to 14th May 2023.
Our logo this year is “Science brings us together!” and our goal is to establish a platform for ambitious students and young doctors from all over the world to present their research work in a set of different poster and oral sessions.
Furthermore, participants have the opportunity to join a variety of hands-on workshops and keynote lectures by world-renowned scientists and doctors.

The International student Congress of Clinical Innovation and Medical Sciences aims to set itself as the premier (bio)medical student congress in Italy and, in the following years, among the most prominent ones in Europe.
Our vision is to create a global community of students and young professionals passionate about clinical innovation and medical sciences. Through ICOCIMS, we aspire to inspire and support emerging talents in their pursuit of excellence, enabling them to contribute meaningfully to the improvement of healthcare worldwide. We envision ICOCIMS as a catalyst for transformative ideas, interdisciplinary collaborations, and evidence-based practice in clinical medicine.

The iMed Conference is a grand project by Nova Medical School’s Students Union addressed to the next generation of Life Science’s students.
This project was created 15 years ago by a group of ambitious students who weren’t satisfied with what they were given at Medical School. Today, we share the same conviction, believing we are more than what we are taught to be.
What we are presenting you this year, is the result of this ambition. We work every day in this direction, enhancing our strengths to bring you the best selected Lectures, competitions and workshops for you to polish your skills. We also organise a premium social programme where you can get to know all the participants, meet our prized speakers and organising committee.
However, the iMed Conference is not limited to the scientific component. It is also dedicated to entrepreneurship, soft skills and networking. Our ultimate goal is that you leave this conference inspired, willing to reach higher.
ISCOMS

The International Student Congress Of (bio)Medical Sciences, also known as ISCOMS, is one of the world’s leading student congresses in (bio)medical sciences. ISCOMS provides the opportunity for medical students to present their research to their peers on an international platform. The 30th edition of ISCOMS will take place from the 5th until 8th of June 2023, at the University Medical Centre Groningen.
Last year’s congress took place in hybrid form, with a total of 646 participants from more than 70 different countries. This year’s congress will take place fully in physical form.
Students can visit the congress both as a presenting and a non-presenting participant. ISCOMS offers a scientific programme with a pre-course on mastering your research and three congress days in which student presentation sessions (plenary, oral, and poster), interactive workshops, a patient lecture and a surgical operation will take place. Furthermore, during the congress you can attend keynote lectures given by Prof. Maria Yazdanbakhsh PhD, Prof. Michael N. Hall PhD, as well as Prof Samuel Achilefu MD PhD and Prof. Robert S. Langer ScD who has won over 220 major awards in biomedical technology.
Besides this, students can explore PhD opportunities at the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG) with the ISCOMS Research Fellowships (IRF). The IRF is a challenging two week programme, in which students may actively participate in research at one of the UMCG Research Institutes and gather a great deal of knowledge related to the topic of research. The IRF are available for presenting participants exclusively.

ZIMS

Zagreb International Medical Congress (ZIMS) is a medical congress that brings together students of biomedical sciences and young doctors worldwide.
There are four parts to every ZIMS:
• Lectures are oriented around that years ZIMS theme – this years theme is “Law and medicine”.
• Workshops are combination of different classes related to the theme and important practical skills every young doctor should master.
• Scientific program is one of the most attractive parts of ZIMS. This is one of few conferences where young students and not yet affirmed scientist have access to the world of publishing because the book of abstracts is published as a supplement to a prestigious medical journal, ‘Liječnički vjesnik’, which is indexed in EMBASE/Index Medicus.
• Social program consists of different activities that help you get to know Zagreb and Croatian culture.
