Antwerp bustles with culture, art, history and business. It is one of the most famous of Flemish art cities, the home of Rubens and of great architectural, history and business interest. It is also the most important diamond centre in the world and the harbour is the third largest in Europe.

For your visit to Antwerp, we can recommend a number of places where you can stay at a reasonable price given its central location next to public transportation:

A. Hotel Rubenshof

B. Youth Hostel 'OpSinjoorke' (click on the English flag on the left)

C. Accor hotels suit your need and your pocket. Etap hotel is basic but in the city center, with sanitary accomodation on the room and a nice breakfast if you chose. Ibis is also in the city center , with more comfort but also pricier than an Etap. Novotel is quite expensive and not in the center, we don't advise you to take this.

D. There are also many other nice accomodations, of which the Zeemanshuis is best suited for students, a little outside the city center. It used to be a place for sailors to spend their night ashore, but is now open to anyone who wants a cheap but clean bed.

E. If you don't mind sharing a room with someone, you might consider Scoutel, right behind the central train station. The youth hostel from the Belgium Scouting is a nice place to stay, simple, clean and with unbeatable prices!
