This is Fahad Bin Jaman and I am an MBBS final professional examinee from Sir Salimullah Medical College Under University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. I like travelling, exploring the magic of new cultures, photography, listening music, gaming, reading various books etc. I am very much interested in Emergency medicine.

Karim Farag, Egypt

My dear friends,  My name is Karim Farag, I am a fourth year medical student of the University of Port Said, Egypt. I like cooking, music and travelling. In the future, I would love to become a Surgeon. I am an ambassador for AMSC because it provides me with the opportunity of presenting my research, beside an important notes on disasters. I am looking forward to meet you in Antwerp.

Rajesh Kumar Mehta, Nepal

When human beings experience trauma or severe life stressors ,it is not common for their live to unravel my great passion is bringing a traumatic/stressful experience. I help my friends, children,adults and families to find healthy perception of themselves and strengthen their relationship so they can know themselves a peaceful,complete ,and safe

Michiel Lembrechts, Belgium

Hello, my name is Michiel Lembrechts, I'm a 5th year medical student at the University of Antwerp. My dream is to become a great cardiologist some day and motivate aspiring doctors to follow their goals. I'm an ambassador of the AMSC, maybe you even heard of it for the first time through me. During the congress however you won't see me, because I will be doing internships in Dar es Salaam. I hope you'll learn something new at the congress and enjoy your stay in Antwerp!

Faizan Akram, Pakistan

Hello! My name is Faizan Akram. I am currently studying Pharm-D (Doctor of Pharmacy) in Final Professional from Faculty of pharmacy and Alternative Medicine, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan.

I have always been thinking about my future, building a career, becoming a successful person and generally finding my own path in the life. In the AMSC 2017, I think you will have the chance to meet such great keynotes and extra-ordinary young researcher from all over the world with different cultures, building new connection. You will be involved in hands-on workshops and have the chance to participate in the World Health Assembly, which is a great experience. I'd recommend it to all biomedical students and I'm sure it will change your way of thinking and broaden your horizons.

My ambition is to make healthcare affordable to everyone and to lift the quality of healthcare services in the developing world.

Hello peeps !

I am Sanya Dhingra , a third year medical student from India currently attending college in Nagpur , Maharashtra. Although my educational choice has evolved around professional subjects, i am passionate about learning everything and to keep myself occupied with something new all the time.  Whenever given a task , i try and give my best to achieve success. The same applies to my personal life as well.

Kevin Varian, Indonesia

HI! I’m Kevin Varian, currently a 3rd year medical student at Universitas Indonesia. My fields of interest are: surgery, cardiology, and urology. Besides, I am now working on a research in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Department of Cipto Mangunkusumo National Hospital.

I'm really proud to be the ambassador from Indonesia. I'd love to help Indonesian medical students who want to present their research and broaden their medical knowledge into the International level, especially those who want to be part of AMSC.

Alexia D’hont, Belgium

My name is Alexia, I am a third year medical student at the University of Antwerp. I have a broad range of interests and am passionate about lizards and Roman history. I prefer to spend my leisure time writing, eating, playing sports and having quality time with my friends. I am an ambassador for AMSC because I think a congress like this is a great opportunity to acquire knowledge and to help you become an adequate health promoter. Hi. My name is Zubair ahmed and I am a 2nd Year MBBS Student at Fatima memorial college of medicine and dentistry Lahore. I love to read scientific literature and have keen interest in biomedical research for which Antwerp medical student congress is a proud pioneer providing an international platform to students of all nationalities to showcase their research and interact with renowned researchers of field. I hope that everybody would like 2017 edition of AMSC which is bigger and better than before. My aim is to promote better patient healthcare and raise it to  global standards.

Mashkur Isa, Ukraine

I’m Mashkur Isa, currently undergoing training at the Bukovinian State Medical University in Chernivtsi, Ukraine. I aim to become a surgeon, which made the last edition of AMSC quite interesting personally. The theme was surgery coupled with the chance to try out our hands on the Da Vinci robot.
      Having had an incredible experience, there was no doubt I would be a participant and an ambassador for this edition! I urge you all to seize this opportunity as there have been several upgrades to ensure a fulfilling, fun and memorable experience! You absolutely don’t want to miss out!

This is Moomtahina Fatima from Bangladesh, studying MBBS at Mymensingh Medical College. I'm very proud to say that there is a good number of rising medical student researchers in my country. I would like to spread the word of AMSC to the medical students of my country, giving them a good platform to think and work beyond boundaries, to act globally and let them know that the relies a huge scope to work, to know, to learn and to unveil thousands of mysteries of medical science apart from the structured academic knowledge we go thorough. My name is Agata Krach, I'm a 4th-year student at Wroclaw Medical University.
I'm particularly interested in surgery.
I believe 2017 AMSC is a wonderful opportunity for young, ambitious, creative students worldwide to meet up, share experiences, exchange ideas.
I also find the main theme of the conference gripping, up-to-date and very practical.
Since we live in the era of continuous and rapid transformation, socioeconomic and environmental changes I think medicine 'under pressure' is a very important subject to be brought up. I can't wait to be there and listen to all the speakers and lectures. See you there ;)

Dear colleagues, my name is Nicola Di Nardo and I am an Italian student at the 3rd year of medicine at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Targu Mures (Romania). In my University Center, I am Local Exchange Officer for IFMSA and member of the organizer committee of the 21st edition “Marisiensis International Scientific Congress”. Since my first year of Med School I started to participate at different european scientific congress, firstly as passive participant than as active. I really suggest you to participate to these events, to increase your scientific knowledge, to open your mind and make new friends.

My name is Mahmoud Warda, a fresh graduate of Mansoura Medical School, Egypt. In my opinion, the AMSC is a nice Students’ Congress, you will have the chance to meet such great keynotes and open minded young researcher from all over the world with different cultures.


You will be involved in a lot of hands-on workshops which is a great experience. Furthermore, they really care about the updates and technology and its applications in science. The Students' Congress experience is really different, I’d recommend it to all biomedical students specifically undergrads and I’m sure it will change your way of thinking and broaden your horizons. Finally, don’t forget to make a lot of international friends. : )

Hi, My name is Madhyra Tri Indraswari, I am a fifth year medical student of the University of Indonesia. I also spent a year to get my degree in bachelor of biomedical science in University of Melbourne. My hobbies include travelling, cooking, and reading. In the future, I would love to become a surgical oncologist, and also pursue my PhD in oncology! Born and trained up in Nigeria, I am Umenta Braithwaite, by 1 September 2002 I was admitted into the Belarusian State Medical University (Minsk, Belarus) for medical training and will be graduating by 2018. Post gratuation, I will proceed to Germany where I will be specialising in clinical engineering and preventive medicine. I intend to later work in the World Health Organisation (WHO) so as to reach a greater population of the world.  I have other professions as a businessman and ICT administrator.

Hello! My name is Muhammad Asim Masoom Zubair and I am currently studying Pharm-D at Faculty of Pharmacy & Alternative medicine, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan. I am a Pharmacist, Entrepreneur, Inventor, Author, Speaker & I am determined to take any challenge promising ample chances to grow, learn and lead in the field of pharmacy and the medical profession that is inclined with my education through determined team work, adding value and promising a better future.

My favourite speciality is Clinical Medicine, of which especially public health. AMSC is a great platform for scientific researchers because their vision is to equip modern students with the best knowledge, skills, and values in order for them to take on health leadership roles both locally and globally.

In my opinion, AMSC is worth visiting because it’s a great opportunity to meet world-class scientists interested in scientific research, keynote lecturers and have a professional experience.

Let me introduce myself, I am ALI RAZA a Pakistani citizen currently pursuing master degree program (MD) in Internal Medicine Cardiology and I am a student of Jinan University Guangzhou, China. The six year undergraduate program in Bachelor of Surgery and Bachelor of Medicine (MBBS) from Jiangxi University of TCM formed the basis of my perseverance towards achieving an in-depth knowledge in the field of Medicine. As a part of my degree course I exposed to clinical internship, tutorials, lectures and seminars that complement the Medical curriculum.

                               I am able to work independently or as a part of team and to work hard, I love new challenges, I enjoy working with people, and I know how to deal with any conflicts that may arise.
